About the Job
We are looking for a Data Scientist in the Advanced User Experience team to accelerate the digital development for our sensory & consumer data in UX. This new position is a great opportunity for someone wishing to join a dynamic community, in the User Experience department of Danone Nutricia Research in Gif-sur-Yvette. Our dynamic UX community, with more than 100 collaborators across the world, which has for main mission to embody the user voice to inspire and co-design awesome food experiences that people will adopt. We work in a multi-disciplinary business environment, to understand consumer’s behaviors and expectations and design Products and Packaging. We partner with leading-edge scientists and agencies to build a competitive advantage for Danone.
Your main responsibilities
The UX Data Scientist develops and drives the sensory & consumer digital processes in the UX strategy and priorities in line with business needs – its main mission is to:
In this role you will interface with multi-disciplinary teams and key capabilities in R&I. Given this, you should bring experience in sensory and consumer design research together with a passion for bringing the consumer voice into the business, and the ability to influence and lead the change with key business partners. An affinity to innovative techniques such as co-design techniques and sensory design is a plus.
About the Job
Main accountabilities & responsibilities:
o Support the data analyses (preference mapping, meta-analyses, predictive modelling) to identify insights in collaboration with sensory & consumer design managers.
o Manage the external network of statisticians e.g. main contact to agencies for additional analysis
o Coach the UX Teams for studies with complex analyses; for sensory evaluation of descriptive panel & consumer studies
o Create & implement the UX database (sensory & consumer data), its structure & automatization in partnership with agencies.
o Work in strong interaction with several departments (R&D, Marketing, Consumer & Market Insights, Quality, Data, IT) to connect UX data with internal systems & databases and ensure consistency of the strategic analysis and of the data management.
o Coordinate, train & animate the UX team to use associated UX data tools and products.
3. Implement & animate the digitalization strategy of the UX Team:
o Contribute to a definition of one UX data roadmap to feed the business needs
o Capitalize on existing models (PrefMap) and/or implement new predictive models to better leverage our data and link them with other internal or external data
o Pilot the new UX initiatives exploring new technologies on advanced statistics (AI…)
4. Develop a data management culture for the UX Team:
o Contribute to the development plan (training) for the team
o Support the local UX Teams in their digitalization journey
o Contribute to the building of the competencies & training plan with HR Teams for the R&D function
