    Call for Sensometrics tutorials!

Tutorial proposals are invited for the upcoming Sensometrics Tutorial Day, to be held in Montevideo, Uruguay on April 9th, 2018, just in advance of the full meeting.

We anticipate sufficient interest to justify holding morning and afternoon tutorials. The tutorial duration will be approximately 3 hours (including a 20-minute break).

Examples of past tutorial abstracts can be found on the Sensometrics 2014 web site; see:

    http://www.pk-research.com/sensometrics2014/tutorials.htm

Please send your proposal directly to Sensometrics Society Chair.

    Thanks!

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our friend and colleague, Pieter Punter. Pieter was a founding member of the Sensometric Society, and co-owner and research director of OP&P in the Netherlands. He has been active in the field of sensory consumer research since the 1980s, and always an enthusiastic and thought-provoking participant at scientific meetings. Many of us have fond memories of Pieter, and he will be sadly missed. A condolence registry is available should you wish to leave a message:  https://www.memori.nl/gedenkplaats/pieter-punter/
